The video stream is processed on-site and never leaves the facility.
Footage stays inside. Control stays with you.
ODAQ's data architecture is built on three principles: raw footage never leaves the site, the unit measured is the event, not identity, and control stays with the business.

No facial recognition, biometric profiling, demographic analysis, or individual employee scoring is performed.
The schema sent to the center consists only of numeric and text event fields; it carries no field that identifies a person.
Because raw footage never leaves the site, the business retains physical control over the data.

Camera streams and business systems converge at the on-site edge device. Only structured, identity-free event data reaches the central platform.

Questions enterprise IT asks
Does footage go to the cloud?+
No. Raw footage is processed on the on-site edge device and never moves to the cloud. Only structured, identity-free event data is sent to the central platform.
Is individual employee or customer tracking performed?+
No. No facial recognition, biometric profiling, demographic analysis, or individual scoring is performed. The unit measured is the event, not the person.
Does it work with our existing camera infrastructure?+
Yes. It connects to your existing NVR and camera streams over RTSP; no additional camera hardware investment is required.
How the principles are enforced in the architecture
- 1The zone editor runs in the browser; its source contains no outbound network call, and this is verified by an automated test that runs on every release. A frame cannot be uploaded even by accident.
- 2For camera-health tracking, what's stored as the reference is not an image frame but a low-resolution signature that cannot be reconstructed back into an image.
- 3This reference does not renew itself; the renewal decision is made by a human. A slowly drifting camera cannot update its own reference and appear healthy indefinitely.
ODAQ does not move processed footage off-site. Event data sent to the center is structured so that it carries no identity information. This architecture is designed to uphold the principle that footage stays on-site.
